To promote safe and responsible use of Inflection AI, Inc.’s products and services, Inflection AI, Inc. (“Inflection AI”) uses a range of procedures and tools to address content that may violate the law or Inflection AI’s terms and policies.
How Inflection AI Monitors and
Enforces Content
Inflection AI uses a combination of automated technologies and human review to monitor activity on Inflection AI’s products and services, such as Pi. Inflection AI’s methods include:
Proactive detection: Inflection AI uses classifiers and other automated systems embedded in Pi's model specifications to identify content that may violate Inflection AI’s terms or policies. Further, Pi implements specific safety protocols across multiple risk areas including discrimination, harmful content, violent extremism, personal information protection, mental health, elections, misinformation, sexual content, violence, unethical behavior, and child safety.
Human review: Users may flag content, which they believe is in violation of the Terms of Service, which may result in the Pi support team reviewing flagged content to determine appropriate actions.
Enforcement Action
When the Pi support team identifies content that violates Inflection AI’s terms or policies, the Pi support team may take actions such as:
Account suspensions: Suspending user access to Pi.
Account terminations: Terminating user access to Pi.
Content restrictions: Preventing or disabling specific content or functionality.
The Pi support team considers factors like legal requirements, the severity of the violation, and past or repeat violations when determining enforcement actions.
Appeals Process
If you think the Pi support team has made a mistake suspending your account or restricting content, please contact the team at [email protected]. The Pi support team may reassess, considering any additional information you provide. If your appeal is successful, the Pi support team will reverse the account suspension.

The Inflection AI safety team continuously monitors and refines Inflection AI’s policies, processes, and tools to enhance our approach as Inflection AI’s products and services evolve globally.Inflection AI will monitor and update this page every six months.
Pi Search Functionality
Search results may be displayed in a conversation when users ask Pi to search the web, or when Pi searches the web to provide a relevant response.
How search results are determined
Search results are displayed using advanced language models to evaluate and filter content based on meaning, intent, and relevance. Search responses also reflect Inflection AI’s safety standards.
